James Price Bespoke Glazing were commissioned to supply & install a complete glazing package for the rear elevation refurbishment of a residential property in West Lancashire, we initially installed four sets of connected ultra slim sliding patio doors across two elevations to allow panoramic views across the rolling Lancashire countryside.

Our slimline sliding patio doors feature an integrated sub-drainage solution offering flush thresholds which allows the internal and external floor finishes to set at the same level. The frames were all finished in Ral 9005 matt black to give that clean sharp finish to compliment the clients’ contemporary internal finishes and fittings.

We then worked closely with the client’s builder to install a frameless glass wind protector for a sunken seating area in the garden, giving protection from the prevailing windows without spoiling the views. This was installed with a concealed innovative aluminium channel system and glazed with polished edged toughened / laminated panels.

Lastly, we installed an internal sliding door screen in a “Crittall Style” to give a multifunctional open plan living area that can also be closed off to give the client a cosy snug in the winter months all without losing the natural light. These doors are ideal when looking to save space plus can also be more economical compared to traditional Crittall steel doors.
